Nice to get one of them done as they are only going to have a few days between the end of the playoff run and July 1st. Would be comforting to have Phillips signed too.
UPDATE: Volchenkov will get $2.1 million next season, $2.2 million in 2008-09 and $3.2 million in 2009-10.
