Jokinen and Loungo were in the lineup tonight and played quite well. Why am I finding the idea of picking up Jeff Friesen for the playoff run increasingly appealing?
Is it because I've been a sucker for this guy in pool after pool? Or is it hope for some sort of restoration of karmic balance in the universe?
It would be easier to read tomorrow's news reports if commentary included the all-important hyphen in the word "re-sign". Without it, an entirely different meaning is imparted.
And Roloson's an Oiler!
ReplyDeleteI hate to break it to everybody but Toronto's not got much anyone wants. The stuff we would want is what everybody's saying are untouchables.
ReplyDeleteYou don't get something for nothing.
So McCabe should sign for $4.25m/5 yrs? I can live with that.
ReplyDeleteOndrus played well last night. He can stay.
Luke Richardson, eh?
ReplyDeleteLeaf Nation will never say die.
The Richardson trade is possibly a precursor to another deal which might see someone like Klee get moved out.
ReplyDeleteKlee just traded to Devils for a RW prospect named Alexander Suglobov. Looks like a good move to add a young forward to the Leafs system.
ReplyDeleteGood call, David.
