I sincerely hope there was no overexuberant celebration in the Byward Market Saturday night. Like me, perhaps you quietly lit up a victory cigar on the balcony (one for each round) and savoured the moment. Nothing would be more indicative of the fan base's collective insecurity than imitating an NFL rookie doing the first down chop after a routine catch.
As to who is next, unfortunately it's probably going to be the Sabres, although I'd prefer Les Glorieux due to Emery's (earlier) success against them and the fact that any team counting on Radek Bonk to centre their top line cannot be long for this world, Forum ghosts notwithstanding.
