After scoring 8 goals against Toronto and 10 goals against Buffalo in less than a week the NHL scoring race has a distinct Bytown feel to it.

Dany Heatly, Ottawa: 21 points

There are two NHLs now - the talent and the rest. This happened in part due to the expansion the league underwent. The grabby game that was dominant till this year was the only way the 'rest' - typically slow, big defenders with limited speed - could stop the talent. Their was enough of an incentive under the old system to select for those guys but that's gone now.
ReplyDeleteGuess which NHL the Sens are in?
As Dany Heatley said, "It's not fair".
You're team is soooo awesome!
ReplyDeleteCome on guys... You know you want to.

ReplyDeleteThat 70's show called, they want their punchline back!
ReplyDeleteAm I sensing a pattern here?
-Sens have great regular season.
-Sens fans get cocky and shoot mouths off about how their team rivals oilers team from 80's
-Toronto sucks and won't make playoffs....
-Toronto makes playoffs and dusts off the sens for the umteenth time!
I never said the Leafs wouldnt make the playoffs - but you seem so sure - so just go ahead and say it.
ReplyDeleteSure. Leafs will make playoffs.
ReplyDeleteLeafs will make the playoffs, Sens will make the playoffs, Sens get put out of playoffs in Second round to Carolina.
