  1. I love the Leafs!

Between my hockey pool selections of Alfreddson, Heatley, Borchenski and Hasek, the Leaf's got me eleven points tonight.

  2. I don't see a single thing any Leaf fans can complain about, after their 9-1 victory over Atlanta on the 14th of this month.

  3. No,The Renegades stink ! The Leafs reek!...I wonder how many games Tucker will get for that pathetic display on the ice..Playing dead on the ice,diving,unsportsmanlike...3 games at least! Do you think he would have done that if Roberts was still on the team? Even the trainers knew he was faking it!!!!

  4. I think the question is how many Volchenkov will get for his elbow on Tucker.

Just goes to show that the Atlanta and Toronto defensive cores stack up well.

  7. Wow, the Meatriarchy really knows his hockey. Back on October 5th, in predicting a Battle of Ontario win by the Sens he wrote:

"I figure anything less than 8-0 or if they score a lucky goal late in the game 8-1 should be a good final score from a team that makes the Hab's of the 70's look like an expansion team."

A more accurate prediction I haven't seen this season, though he was off on the timing by a couple weeks.

Unfortunately, he was wrong to predict the Sens would go 82-0, but he still could be close on that one.

In the same post, he did predict this about the Leafs, which is almost correct:

"... that's right the team that when last played had 103 points will somehow mysteriously drop by about 6-9 spots in the standings..."

Right now the Leafs are only 5 spots down in the standings, but there's still time.
